Itinerary
Day 1: RIO DE JANEIRO
Arrival in Rio de Janeiro, reception at the airport, and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 2: RIO DE JANEIRO
Breakfast and departure for the Rio City Tour. Duration: 8 to 9 hours.
Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer:
From anywhere in the city, visitors can see Rio's most beautiful postcard: Christ the Redeemer atop Corcovado Mountain. Standing 710 meters above sea level, this statue was inaugurated in 1931 and has since become one of the city's most visited sites. The tour begins in the Cosme Velho neighborhood, where you will board the famous Corcovado Train (or tourism vans) to travel through the Tijuca Forest, offering panoramic views of the world's largest urban forest. It is a truly enchanting journey combining Rio's urbanism with exuberant nature. From the feet of Christ, visitors will discover the best panoramic views of Rio, including Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.
Downtown Rio City Tour:
This segment features a tour of Rio's city center, highlighting the Sambadrome (where the world's most famous Carnival parades take place), the Metropolitan Cathedral (a pyramid-shaped structure with a 96-meter diameter), and the traditional Cinelândia square, home to the Municipal Theater, the National Library, and the Assembly building. The tour continues through the Flamengo neighborhood toward Urca, home to another icon: Sugarloaf Mountain (Pão de Açúcar). In the Guarani language, its name means "high, pointed, and isolated mountain." It was at the foot of this hill that Rio de Janeiro was founded by Estácio de Sá in 1565.
Lunch and Sugarloaf Mountain:
After a stop for lunch, we proceed to Sugarloaf. The ascent is done in two stages via the famous "bondinho" cable car. The first stage connects Praia Vermelha to Urca Hill (215m), offering views of Guanabara Bay, Flamengo Beach, and the Rio-Niterói Bridge. The second stage reaches the summit of Sugarloaf (395m), providing a unique view of Copacabana Beach, the Santa Cruz Fortress, and the beaches of Niterói. After enjoying the view from the terraces, we descend via cable car and return to the hotel. End of tour.
By Night Rio: Baródromo (Carnival-Themed Bar). Duration: 4 hours.
In the evening, we will have our first night out in Rio! We are going to Baródromo, a themed bar that offers a festive Carnival atmosphere all night long. Decorated as a tribute to the greatest party on Earth—the Rio Carnival—this bar allows you to "samba" to the rhythm of live music and DJs playing only the most traditional Carnival anthems (enredos). Enjoy a welcome Caipirinha and get ready to experience the Samba.
Day 3: RIO DE JANEIRO
Breakfast and departure for the Naturist Beach Tour. Duration: 6 hours.
Today we will spend the day relaxing at a naturist beach in Rio de Janeiro located in Barra da Tijuca. Barra da Tijuca is one of Rio’s most beautiful coastal areas, featuring wide stretches of sand set against a turquoise-green sea.
Brazil is a member of the International Naturist Federation and has several beaches where this lifestyle—widely practiced in many countries under international regulations—is enjoyed. This program includes a naturist beach recognized and recommended by the Brazilian Naturist Federation. Nudity is mandatory during your stay on the beach. (Should the passenger prefer a different type of beach, the tour can be modified). Return to the hotel.
By Night Rio: Rio Scenarium (Samba Show Venue). 4-hour tour.
Tonight promises an experience at the best samba house in the Marvelous City: Rio Scenarium! Located in the heart of the bohemian Lapa neighborhood, this venue features live performances by samba artists facing a dance floor filled with "Cariocas" dancing the night away. There is no better place in all of Rio to watch the locals dance Samba. Here, we will also have a welcome caipirinha to kick off the night. Afterward, you can join the dancing or simply enjoy the atmosphere in the various spaces the venue offers. (Dinner is available here as well – cost not included in the program).
Day 4: RIO DE JANEIRO
Confeitaria Colombo and Farme de Amoedo
Today we wake up a little later and head out for breakfast at 10:00 AM at the traditional Confeitaria Colombo, located inside the Copacabana Fort, boasting the best panoramic view of Rio's most famous beach. Here, we can enjoy delicious Brazilian coffee and typical national pastries while seated in front of the privileged view offered by the fort. Once breakfast is finished, we begin an urban tour of Farme de Amoedo in Ipanema, one of Rio's primary LGBT+ hotspots. It’s the perfect time for shopping and strolling through one of the city's most beautiful neighborhoods. We can stop here for lunch (there are restaurants of all kinds) before returning to the hotel. (Lunch not included).
By Night Rio: Ipanema Bars.
In the evening, we keep the Ipanema vibe going with a 4-hour tour of the neighborhood's most famous bars. We will tailor this tour to the passenger's preferences, stopping wherever you feel most comfortable and at ease. Ipanema's nightlife is charming, and it’s well worth taking a short walking tour past the various bars and restaurants located close to one another. Return to the hotel.
Day 5: RIO DE JANEIRO / PARATY
Breakfast, check-out, and transfer to the city of Paraty. The journey takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes. Check-in and the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
At 7:00 PM, we depart for Bartolomeu Restaurant, where we will enjoy a romantic welcome dinner in the heart of the city's historic center.
Day 6: PARATY
Breakfast and departure for the Paraty City Tour.
During the City Tour, we will experience the colonial atmosphere while wandering through the charming streets of the historic center. We will discover its beautiful architecture, where every detail and symbol in the buildings carries meaning and tells stories of important chapters in Brazilian history. Paraty has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its natural and cultural wealth, as it encompasses the Serra da Bocaina National Park and the National Monument of the historic center. It also earned the UNESCO title of "Creative City of Gastronomy" for its culinary importance and consistent development.
Irregular cobblestone paths, thick decorated walls, and colonial houses with iron balconies represent its essence. The visit includes beautiful art ateliers, the historic churches of Our Lady of Remedies, Our Lady of Sorrows, Our Lady of the Rosary, and the Church of Saint Rita of Cascia. The tour is completed with a visit to the House of Culture and the Museum of Sacred Art. Finally, we will end the City Tour with a Cachaça tasting at the distilleries in the historic center. After the tour, return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
In the evening, we will have dinner at another traditional restaurant, Casa Coupê, also located in the historic center, allowing for a short and pleasant walk from the hotel.
Day 7: PARATY
Breakfast and departure for a day of nature, beach, and sea!
With 65 islands and over 300 beaches surrounded by lush vegetation, Paraty offers wonderful places to discover. It is an excellent destination for snorkeling, diving, swimming, nature watching, or simply relaxing to recharge your batteries. This 5-hour private boat trip through Paraty Bay includes 3 or 4 stops chosen by the passengers. You will receive suggestions from the guide accompanying the crew, who knows the best spots for snorkeling, wildlife viewing, or secluded, near-deserted beaches. After the boat trip, return to the Paraty pier and back to the hotel to rest.
Day 8: PARATY / RIO
Breakfast, check-out, and transfer to the Rio de Janeiro airport (this can also be combined with a transfer to the São Paulo airport for an additional cost). End of program.
