Contrasts of Brazil
A Journey Through Brazil’s Most Iconic Landscapes
A circuit that traverses the most significant landscapes of Brazil. We begin in the "Marvelous City" of Rio de Janeiro, visiting Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain, exploring the historic city center, and enjoying the world-famous beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema.
Next, we visit charming Paraty, a historic town of fundamental importance to Brazil's colonial past. We continue to the historic cities of Minas Gerais, where we will discover Brazil’s two primary Baroque gems, Ouro Preto and Mariana, featuring beautifully preserved heritage.
Our next destination is the dazzling and exuberant landscape of Iguazu and its breathtaking waterfalls. Manaus awaits us with open arms as the gateway to the Amazon; after one night in the capital, we transfer to jungle lodges for the authentic experience of sleeping in the heart of the rainforest. Finally, we visit Salvador de Bahia, Brazil’s first capital, rich in history, culture, delicious cuisine, stunning beaches, and unforgettable Bahian hospitality.
